Greetings Sisters and Brothers,
Our Next Circle Mass – Sunday 3rd December – St Theresa’s, Southwick
Adur Valley Catenians will attend mass at St Theresa’s, celebrated by Fr. Tony Milner, and will provide a selection of mince pies and Christmas Cake, hoping to engage with fellow parishioners over a glass of mulled wine afterwards.
Please make every effort to attend as this will be our last mass before the new year. GBNC Capitation Increase Vote.

We have a new President for the Next Year!

We wish him a most enjoyable year! (whoever she or he might be!)

( Please note; 2nd July is St. Swithun’s day according to the Julian Calendar, however you are probably more familiar with it being 15th July, which is according to today’s calendar, the Gregorian Calendar)
2. Which king in Shakespear’s play gave a rousing speech mentioning St Crispin’s Day? Henry V – Act 4: Scenes 3–5

Past Events
Six Provinces Mass –5th November – Westminster Cathedral
A group of Adur Valley Catenians enjoyed Mass at Cathedral and lunch at The Albert a short walk away. After lunch we enjoyed a walk in St James’s Park, feeding the squirrels and admiring the autumn colours.
Remembrance Sunday 11th November
Adur Valley Catenians took part in the Remembrance Day Parade at Shoreham with one brother laying a wreath at the war memorial, following which, we repaired to the Crown and Anchor for Sunday lunch. Despite the weather, it was good to get together and pay our respects to those who have fallen in conflict.
